Installing Caml Light
on a Macintosh
This file describes how to install Caml Light on your hard disk.
It takes about 2 megabytes of disk space.
Copy the "Caml Light" application and the "lib" folder to your hard disk.
They must reside in the same folder.
That's all. You can now double-click the application.
COMMON PROBLEMS:
If you see the line:
> Cannot find file toplevel.zi
in the "Caml Light output" window, and a dialog box saying:
"Caml Light terminated abnormally",
this means either you did not put the "lib" folder beside the "Caml Light"
application or you have several disks with the same name (a common case is
a "macintosh HD" hard disk and a "macintosh HD" shared disk from another mac).
Caml Light will not work properly if two disks have the same name. You will
have to rename one of your disks.
